Saattal is a cluster of seven lakes situated at a safe distance of 22 kms from Nainital, making it one of the nearest hill destinations from Delhi. Set up in 1993, Saat-tal camp is one of the first adventure camps in the region. The camp is located on a hill top overlooking the Saattal lakes at a moderate height of 1350 m (4,300 ft) , which makes it an ideal all season camp.
Over a short weekend, you can enjoy Kayaking, Rowing, Fishing & Swimming in clean and crystal clear lakes, splash under a hidden waterfall in the forest, try adventure activities like rock climbing, river crossing and rappelling or simply enjoy a game of soccer with friends on the dry lake bed of Biyun tal.

Activities: Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Jummaring, Kayaking, Jungle trek, Trekking to a beautiful waterfall.
Extra meal: Breakfast @ Rs. 200/- PP, Lunch & Dinner @ Rs.250/- PP.
Barbeque snacks @ Rs. 200/- per person per night.
Bird watching can be arranged on request.
Children in the age of 0-5 are complementary. Those between 6-12 are charged @ Rs 1000 each.
Transportation for pickup and drop.
All activities are subject to the weather conditions as well the duration of stay and group size.
Residential tents: Accommodation in American Safari Tents along-with camp cots, mattresses and sleeping bags ensure a comfortable stay in the wilderness.
Toilet tents: Fully equipped with W/C toilets, running water flushes and toilet paper.
Bathing tents: Four tents with buckets, mugs and soaps and fresh running water. Wash area with wash basins, running water and mirror.
Kitchen facilities: A spacious tent equipped with modern facilities under hygienic conditions and infrastructure to provide Continental, Indian or Chinese cuisine along-with local delicacies. Bar-be-ques are also arranged around the campfire. Any special requests for food specifications can be made if advance notice is given.
Dining area: A summer house set in the midst of the garden with a stone table and benches makes an appetizing place to enjoy meals.
Note: The camp is Eco-Nature camp.
By Bus: Day and night buses ply between Delhi and Nainital. Cabs may be taken from Nainital for transfer to the camp.
By Car: Drive yourself to the camps from Delhi (278 Kms) through Moradabad, Rampur, Rudrapur Haldwani and Bhimtal. Last place for fuel is in Haldwani..
By Train: The overnight train, Ranikhet Express leaves Old Delhi Railway station at 10:45 p.m. daily for Kathgodam, 33 kilometeres away from Saat-tal Camp. Cabs are readily available at Kathgodam station to take you to the camp.
